While it’s a given to have a photographer document the big days in your life (such as your wedding day), I personally think it’s equally as important to have documentation of those years in between the big hurrahs. Maybe I’m a bit biased being a photographer, but when you think about it… we all change so much on a yearly basis. We grow, we evolve, our relationships change. It’s all worth celebrating. And it’s for sure worth documenting. Besides, how we dress outside of the special occasions is more reflective of the everyday reality, wouldn’t you agree? (Now who’s up for an in-home pajama session because I’m pretty sure most of us have been mostly rocking those pjs this past year, am I right?)
