You’re the type of couple that doesn’t want to have a cookie cutter, “everyone said we had to do it like this” type of wedding day. But rather, you are totally confident in who you are as unique individuals and as a unified force in your relationship together. With this in mind, you are hoping to plan a wedding that not only looks like a reflection of your style and love, but more importantly also feels like you - right down to the refined or relaxed demeanor your friends and family know you to naturally have. Once the wedding day has come to an end, you want to trust that your day was just as expertly documented just as intentionally as it was planned for. And above all, you desire lasting images and beautifully-made keepsakes to reflect back on that will feel just as real, joyful, and heartfelt as each moment of the day truly was.
This is where I come in.
Wedding days are a rare occasion where every interaction holds deep meaning, but will also simultaneously be a blur of fond memories at the end of the evening. There are no do-overs. My goal as your photographer will always be to ensure you can be fully present in each moment, and rest assured that your memories – and all the details you’ve pulled together to make your vision come to life – will be well documented, as authentically as possible. I am deeply passionate about photographing real moments of human connection, and am constantly on the look-out for honest displays of emotion, such as tears streaming down dad’s face or joyful laughter from your best girlfriend on the dance floor. Hand-in-hand with simple, timeless portraiture that feels natural and easy-going, the images of real moments filled with genuine emotion are going to re-spark all the memories – and most of all, feelings – of your day every single time you look back over your images.
