Ahead of your wedding day, birth, or photo session, we will have an in-depth conversation to talk about timeline and location details, and also discuss things that are most important for you to have lasting visual memories of. Enjoy being present in the moment

Being a present, participating person in your own life experiences is of the utmost importance to me during our time together. I hope that you’ll be having so much fun connecting with your loved ones that you’ll completely forget I’m there with a camera in hand. Laugh, cry, and let your experience wash over you in the most profound way. I promise you, the images afterward are going to give you all the feels you felt in that exact moment the image was created. A time for portraits

When portraits are needed – whether on a wedding day or during a photo session – I'll provide lightly-guided poses for you with a more organic approach, resulting in images that are simple, clean, natural, and timeless. My goal is to provide images that will be cherished by loved ones and inevitably be passed on to future generations. At the same time, I am a little bit of a stickler on the details. I’ll be on the look-out for fly away hair, awkward bunches in clothing, and also offer direction that will give you the most flattering pose/angle for the images we are creating. As much as I want your photos to feel natural and unposed, my nearly 10 years of experience have also taught me that making sure everyone looks – and most of all feels –their best is just as important.

After

When our time together is complete (from an active photography standpoint anyhow), I will go through all the images created and select the best of the best to edit and provide you. I believe in the integrity of your full story, and want your first experience seeing images from your wedding, birth, or portrait session to be in a story format. With this in mind, I will either blog the day’s highlights, or if you prefer to keep your images private, I will send you the full gallery once all the images are complete.

Final (high-resolution) images are always provided as an electronic download from an online gallery when they are ready/complete. However, it’s best to bring your treasured photography investment to life by having them printed. I would LOVE to help you make image selections and design well-crafted keepsakes for you to cherish and pass on, whether in an album format, canvas, or a set of beautiful, professionally-printed photographs.
