The hardest part about blogging wedding images for me is always going through and deciding on favorites to share. I told myself this year would be the year of staying on top of blogging and to help with this goal, I would only pick my top 25 favorite images from each wedding. Well... I'm here to blog my first wedding of the busy season, and already failed at keeping to my only 25 images rule. But with a wedding as great as this, it was really hard not to share a ton more.
Carla + Prescott had the most amazing, low-key wedding at Monroe's Restaurant in Rochester, NY earlier this month. Everything was so elegant and yet relaxed, it made for the perfect June wedding! What I loved most, is that they did the wedding the way they wanted. No bridal party. Very few "traditional" elements. And even a 2 hour cocktail hour! Their ceremony was outside (under a tent as the forecast was originally calling for rain!), and because of the wide open patio, guests were able to move in and out of the restaurant for cocktail hour and after dinner as they pleased. They had an amazing live band who filled the room with upbeat vibes, and kept the dance floor moving throughout the night. Above all else... Carla and Prescott's love for one another as well as the love FOR them from their loved ones, showed the entire day through. It was such an honor to spend their wedding photographing them with their closest friends and family, and I am super excited to share a few faves with you today!
