Allysa + Jordan had the most beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony at Garrett Memorial Chapel in Penn Yan, NY the afternoon before their big wedding celebration in Rochester (more to come from that day, soon!). Garrett Memorial Chapel is a small, historic church nestled in the woods at Bluff Point on Keuka Lake, and quite possibly is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in. It was the perfect size for the small number of family and friends they invited to witness their vows, and a beautiful backdrop for photos – despite the cloudless, afternoon skies! Days like this, and most of all, couples like Allysa and Jordan, remind me how blessed I am to be doing what I love, photographing couples committing their lives together, surrounded by those nearest and dearest. Creating unique images to cherish and pass on to generations to come.
